I love receiving gifts.

I got a phone call from the Friendship Circle of Michigan the other day asking for my address. I was told they wanted to send me a little thank you for my participation as a Bronze Sponsor of the Walk4Friendship.

I expected a card.

Was I ever surprised when this beautiful plaque showed up at my door!

Catwalk For Cancer

Mark your calendar for September 28th.

We will be participating in the Catwalk for Cancer at the Uptown Grille, an event to benefit The Look Good…Feel Better program.

Take in fall's new looks while supporting a great cause. Emceed by WRIF's Anne Carlini, the evening will include a fashion show, dinner, music, gift bags and a raffle. Proceeds benefit Look Good...Feel Better, a free national public service program dedicated to helping those with cancer improve self-esteem and cope with treatment and recovery in style.

Tickets are $35 and can be purchased online at the Catwalk for Cancer website
