New Prices Coming Soon

I can't wait to roll out our new pricing structure.

We have completely refaced our Wedding and Bar Mitzvah pricing to make it easier to get what you want without out committing to a specific package upfront. ~Afterall, how do you know what you want until you see the images?

Our portrait pricing has undergone a change as well. New boutique products, image boxes, jewelry and gallery cubes... just name a few.

This is an exciting year!

Website Updating

A little bit of knowledge can be dangerous. It can be a lot of fun as well.

I've been playing around with the code on our website, trying to update the information and make in Search Engine friendly.

While I was dabbling, I almost crashed our site but quickly realized that the index page was moved to the wrong area of the site (WHEW!)

Anyway, I updated the Photographers Resources page. Have a look and tell me what you think.

Thanks!

PPM Competition Results

Well, I'm back from Lansing and I'm happy to report that my images did pretty well in the Professional Photographers of Michigan print competition.

My combined score for my top 4 prints was 346. That was the fifth highest score in the state.

My image of Dario Faruggia from Wyandotte High School scored a whopping 95 points! A bridal portrait of Ann Marie (Bailey) Moran scored 80. The image that I created outside the Luxor Hotel for My friend Jim Churchill scored 81.

I entered a couple of images that I created a GLIP last summer too. The image of Justyn that was captured on the campus of the college scored 87 and my composite of Anna Marie scored 83 (I think it was under scored).

I was happy to receive the following awards:
~The Professional Photographers of America CPP Award for the highest scoring image submitted by a Certified Professional Photographer.
~The Kodak Gallery Award, for Photographic Excellence in the portrait category.
~Court of Honor in the wedding category.
~Michigan Top Seven Master Photographer.

The next step is to enter the images in PPA's annual print competition to see if any of them will be accepted into the traveling Loan Collection. -Wish me luck :)

Wedding Image Selected for Magazine Cover

Each year, The Jewish News publishes their "Celebrate" issue. Photographers from around the area are asked to submit images they've created during the last year that illustrates a "celebration".

This year like we have done in the past, we submitted our photo's and our ad and we waited for the magazine to be published.

Last Thursday, we were pleasantly surprised to see that our photo of Julie (Justice) and Steve Goldberg was chosen as the cover image. Wahoo!

Isn't that exciting????
