Did You Know???

Did you know that we often get asked to work out of state? That's right. Many of our clients ask us to photograph their weddings, bar mitzvahs, family portraits and other events outside of Michigan.

We are always excited to photograph at new venues. I guess you could say that it keeps the "creative juices" flowing.
We've had the priviledge of working in places like Chicago, Aspen, Greensboro NC and Las Vegas.

Michigan makes for fun and exciting destinations too! Mackinac Island, the Charlevoix area and Grand Rapids are also a few of our favorites.

Let us know if you are planning a destination wedding or event. We'll be sure to mark it off our schedule so we can be there for you!

PPA Print Competition Results

Ok. So I just found out how my prints did in the Professional Photographers of America print competition.
I "hung" three out of the four that I entered. Can you guess which one didn't hang? .. Don't worry, you won't hurt my feelings, I've been at this game for a loooong time! :)
I will post the results next week, or you can just email me.

Great portraits for Lauren

We had a great time photographing Lauren's senior portraits last Friday.
We did some really cool things at the Novi Town Center that I'm sure Lauren is going to love!!!

Of course the success of the session was largely due to my great assistant, Lauren's mom.
...Your check is, well, in the E- mail ;) LOL.

Nancy and Brad got married

What a great wedding we had this weekend! Nancy and Brad and their families and friends made our jobs so much fun and so EASY. It was one of the hottest days that we have experienced this year, but hey, the humidity was low so the 97 degree day only felt like ...94 :)

"Wet heat" or "dry heat", it's still hot!

Seriously, the breeze we felt in back of Kirk in the Hills Church felt really nice and we created some great images that I can't wait for Nancy and Brad to see when they get back from their honeymoon.

By the way, I met Brad's uncle who asked me if I ever use Photoshop in our studio. ...That's kind of like asking me if I ever breath air in my studio. I use it daily! Well, come to find out that he is the father of Chris Cox, one of the names that come up on the Photoshop CS2 welcome screen. Of course I knew Brad's last name but I didn't even make the connection... but now I know someone on the "inside".

Ok just kidding... no late night "Photoshop help" phone calls.

Here are just a few of the many beautiful photographs that we have.

I am working on a new product that we're going to offer. It's a web based slide show of select images from the wedding that I hope to have completed by tomorrow.
